2009 Events Fellow Yacht Club Members: We are looking forward to a great boating season this coming year. Our plans include some favorite places we've traveled to in the past, some we haven't visited in a while, & some we have never been to as a group. The locations & dates listed below are subject to change based on slip availability & member interest. | June 27 Picnic and Pool Party – Summit North Marina | Pool Party/Picnic on 06-27-09: (Rain Date: 06-28-09) SNYC will provide alcohol to adults outside of the Pool/Restaurant area (any alcohol served inside the Pool/restaurantareas will be provided by Aqua Sol); SNYC will provide burgers, hot dogs, beer, wine coolers and wine with Members providing side dishes; There have been 48 responses to date. Fleet Captain will forward to members an e-mail requesting confirmations and number of children attending; There will be games for children; - There will be a 50/50 raffle with proceeds (or a portion thereof to be determined) going to Sandy Camp’s cancer walk.

| July 17, 18 & 19 (FULL) | Wildwood Trip July 17, 18 &19 2009: 10 boats confirmed plus 2 couples by land; Cocktails on Friday night; Flyers to be posted throughout Marina advertising event; - There are still spaces available for boats under 35 feet.

| August 7, 8, and 9 Members Only Barbeque – Herrington Harbour South (Member guests welcome for a fee, no charge for members other than slip fees) (WAITING LIST) | ( Herrington Harbor South trip August 7, 8 & 9 2009: 23 boats have signed up and paid deposit with 3 on a waiting list plus approximately 20 more people not by boat; Complete itinerary will be forwarded later in the summer; Menu will be finalized at next SNYC meeting; SNYC will provided beer (either ½ keg Coors Light or ¼ keg each of Coors Light and Miller Light) wine and soda at the dinner with a cash bar for mixed drinks; Fleet Captain will ascertain prices for 1 hour open bar with appetizers; A DJ has been hired (he will also provide karaoke); $300 is allocated to preparing gift baskets (including 1 for teenagers) will be prepared with tickets to be given to attending members; $70 to $80 is allocated to preparation of Center pieces which will be given to members; A 50/50 will be held with proceeds (or a portion thereof to be determined) going to Sandy Camp’s cancer walk. To date $2748.28 has been paid to Herrington Harbor South which guarantees food for 40 people; final figures will not be available until later in the summer.
